Running 2/9/21 CAS (LO2, LO4)
I have decided to take a break from tennis tournaments and instead focus on running. My main goal as of right now is to improve my lung capacity. In order to that, I've been trying to run for somewhat long distances anywhere from one mile to three miles, and as soon as I get to where I want I try and sprint as fast I can for roughly 20 seconds. Additionally, I am hoping to improve my mile time. About a month ago I was running 7-minute miles. Now, I will usually run 5 miles and the average time in which finish running a mile will be about 6 minutes and 30 seconds. So far, I have found that the only way to improve mile time is simply by running quite frequently. I hope to run a mile in 6 minutes, as of now, that is my goal and I feel like I can achieve it.
